Mit dem Projekt \u201eMondschatz\u201c konnte sie beides \u2013 aktuelle Technik und Jahrhunderte altes Handwerk \u2013 miteinander verbinden. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann Michael Thalmann wurde das Projekt entwickelt und verbessert. Mit einem feinen Team \u2013 an dieser Stelle unseren besonderen Dank an Miriam, Jan und Herrn Fessler \u2013 wurde die Kollektion fertiggestellt und produziert. Made in Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201eMondschatz\u201c pr\u00e4sentiert einzigartige Schmuckst\u00fccke mit ma\u00dfstabsgetreuen Mondoberfl\u00e4chen. Mondschmuck mit 3D Mondlandschaft &#8211; der Erste und Einzige!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ganz besonders geeignet f\u00fcr Astronauten, Topographen, Prinzessinnen, Paare, Schatzsucher und Monds\u00fcchtige\u2026;).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Mondringe \u201eSputnik\u201c und \u201eApollo\u201c zeigen jeweils einen topographisch identischen \u00c4quatorstreifen des Mondes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die zwei Anh\u00e4nger sind Miniaturhalbmonde: einmal die erdzugewandte H\u00e4lfte des Mondes \u2013 das \u201eGesicht\u201c, und die \u201eDark side of the moon\u201c, die sogenannte \u201eR\u00fcckseite\u201c des Mondes. Man sieht &#8211; und f\u00fchlt &#8211; sehr sch\u00f6n den Unterschied zwischen den beiden Mondh\u00e4lften. Die erdzugewandte Seite (hier landeten alle bisherigen Raumflugk\u00f6rper) hat viele glatte Fl\u00e4chen, die sogenannten \u201eMeere\u201c (gefrorene Lava). Diese neue topografische Karte zeigt die Oberfl\u00e4chenform und Eigenschaften \u00fcber (fast) den gesamten Mond mit einer Pixel-Skala von fast 328 Fu\u00df.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obwohl der Mond der n\u00e4chste Nachbar der Erde ist, ist die Kenntnis der Morphologie noch begrenzt. Aufgrund der Einschr\u00e4nkungen fr\u00fcherer Missionen existierte bisher keine globale Karte der Mondlandschaft in hoher Aufl\u00f6sung. Mit LROs Weitwinkelkamera und dem Lunar Orbiter Laser H\u00f6henmesser k\u00f6nnen Wissenschaftler nun pr\u00e4zise die Form des gesamten Mondes in hoher Aufl\u00f6sung darstellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mit Hilfe dieser beeindruckenden Daten konnten wir &#8211; Mondschatz &#8211; eine exakte Kopie des Mondes herstellen, auf Walnussgr\u00f6sse verkleinern und ein wenig skalieren um sp\u00e4tere Gussverluste auszugleichen. Vier 3D-Modelle entstanden zun\u00e4chst am Rechner: Ring Sputnik, Ring Apollo und zwei Mondhalbschalen. Alle Formen wurden zun\u00e4chst in Hartwachs geplottet, und jeweils eine Silikonform davon erstellt. Mit Hilfe der Silikonformen wurden nun Wachsmodelle produziert, die wiederum in Gips eingebettet wurden. Nach Herausschmelzen des Wachses konnte die Hohlform mit fl\u00fcssigem Silber ausgegossen werden &#8211; tadaaa &#8211; die Grundform und die authentische Mondoberfl\u00e4che ist fertig! Die Schmuckteile werden anschliessend in Handarbeit weiterverarbeitet, ges\u00e4gt, gefeilt, gel\u00f6tet, geschmirgelt und poliert. Warum, weiss niemand, aber es wurde alsbald eine Mondsichel nebst Sternen an meine Kinderzimmert\u00fcr gemalt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ca. zwanzig Jahre sp\u00e4ter, am Ende meiner Ausbildung zum Goldschmied, machte ich mich mit einem Minibarren Gold daran, den Mond nachzubauen. Die Zeit war noch nicht reif, das Ergebnis nicht zufriedenstellend. Es sollte keine k\u00fcnstlerische Interpretation des Mondes sein, sondern jeder Krater, die Meere, alles sollte GENAU GLEICH sein &#8211; nur eben kleiner\u2026;).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nochmal zwanzig Jahre sp\u00e4ter, als meine Tochter 4 wurde, kamen mehrere Faktoren zusammen: mein Mann und ich suchten Freundschaftsringe, und die NASA ver\u00f6ffentlichte eine hochaufl\u00f6sende Karte der Mondoberfl\u00e4che.
